Very simple. I use 1hr overlay high/low over whatever else I am looking at -- like RIPS does. Here is what it looks like on Tradovate. This should be an easy thing to code.

    I wrote an indicator for TradingView to mimic what RIPs indicator does. As soon as TSX permits custom scripts I will publish it into TSX.
