Desktop Version
Desktop version along with the web version would be an essential component to any full fledge futures platform. Most of the established platforms such as Ninja Trader, Tradestation, Tradovate, etc have both. Additionally, desktop version is easier to customize when multiple monitors are being used and it also provides better screen real estate usage.

I think this is on the money. That would be great to have both. That said, it's also worth noting that from a dev & resource util standpoint, getting the one platform 85% complete and RIGHT seems appropriate before setting out on to wrestle down a fresh bull. I guess that's not really what they do, but the illustrative value should still work.

If you open TopstepX in Google Chrome and from the options menu select, "Save and Share > Create Shortcut" it will create a shortcut, that you can pin to the taskbar and start menu, to open TopstepX in a window without all the menus. Microsoft Edge also has this with "Apps > Install as an app" from the options menu.

This is how I run Tradovate, as the browser version runs better and also gives me more options compared to the Desktop app.

Agreed! Definitely NEED to be able to save chart layouts on multi-monitor setups. This way when we open the platform ALL charts appear on the same monitors that we laid them out on & saved so we don’t have to copy & move the charts every time we open the platform.

Absolutely, Linux must be supported. I know I’m not the only trader who refuses to use Windows whenever possible.

yes please have a dedicated/ proprietary software for desktop. Chrome can’t run on my discrete graphic and it takes soo much RAM. also the chart keep resetting itself, very limited customization such as font/color/hotkeys/ and quick access to different order types.
