DOM/Chart Link Over Multiple Monitors/Windows

Right now if you have DOM in one window and chart in another window you have to manually refresh the chart window to get it to sync to the instrument selected in the DOM. When both DOM and Chart on the same window it does it straight away.
Im sure this is a browser restriction but maybe there is a way to sync across multiple browser/windows/monitors in the future?
