Proposal:
Enable support for writing Daily Journal entries using basic HTML formatting.
Why this matters:
The trading journal is a cornerstone for both technical and psychological development. Being able to format journal entries using HTML (headings, lists, highlights, links, tables) would drastically improve the clarity, structure, and long-term usability of our notes. This isn’t about turning the journal into a blog—just giving traders more control over how they capture and organize their thoughts.
Key Benefits:
Cleaner structure and better visual organization.
Improved clarity for post-trade reviews and performance analysis.
Ability to include external links (charts, articles, resources).
More customization without compromising simplicity.
Benchmarking:
Other platforms like Notion or even simple rich-text editors already offer this kind of flexibility. Adding basic HTML support would position Topstep as a more advanced and trader-focused platform.
Minimal Technical Requirements (Suggested):
Allow basic HTML tags: <h1>, <h2>, <p>, <strong>, <ul>, <ol>, <li>, <a>, <table>, etc.
Optional WYSIWYG editor or preview mode.
