It would be nice if Topstep X had a FVG indicator that was built in or added on to their default indicators. The FVG indicator would automatically plot the FVGs as different colored rectangles on the chart.
Because I’m spending a lot of extra time drawing out these rectangles manually, I would greatly benefit from the addition of a FVG indicator to the default indicators list on Topstep X.
Since I’m currently unable to connect my account with the TradingView platform, it would be extremely helpful if a simple Fair Value Gap (FVG) indicator could be added to the built-in indicators list.
A good example of what I mean is the FVG indicator by Nephew_Sam_, which is widely used by the community (around 40,000 users). I’m not asking for anything advanced — just a clean, basic FVG display would be more than enough. The inverse FVG is not essential, but it would not be a disadvantage either.
I would be very grateful if this could be considered.

I use an indicator on trading view which is beneficial for myself. There are also several other people who use it with trading view which allows them to trade a strategy that they currently use.
The indicator itself highlights on 1 chart. the Gaps built in to whichever timeframe you identify. So it saves skipping between multiple timeframes. This indicator then removes the FVG when the FVG is mitigated. this is used for a specific strategy. the inverse strategy.
The one currently being used is FVG by nephew_sam
Is it possible to get an indicator similar to this if possible or let me know an alternative approach to try get this included with topstepX. The indicators which are not available is prohibiting several people I know from switching Topstep X and the rest of it is superseded by other platforms.
We asked for the addition of FVG’s (fair value gaps) and Volume Imbalances as indicators many months ago. We had a number of other traders “upvote” the idea…can we please get these added?
Hello , i like the platform topstepx but in my eyes its missing some indicators , i am trading on the seconds timeframe aswell and now i have gaps in the candles , maybe its an idea to put a new indicator for no gaps , on tv its called no gaps candles , and we need fvg indicator !@!@!@!@!@@!@

Feature request: simple FVG indicator

I would like to submit a feature request.

Yes, or just being able to import an FVG indicator from an external developer, like the FVG indicator from Nephew Sam.
