HOT KEYS - IMPROVEMENTS Please!

  • When Trading multiple instruments i.e. multiple charts/screens, it would be a significant speed benefit if we could:

    Activate/enable the HOTKEYS features on a chart/screen simply by double clicking on a clear space of that chart/screen.

  • Needing to click on the 'H' icon at the top left of the component on the trading page is very slow and time consuming, takes much needed focus and attention away!

    Also, being able to specify a LIMIT level or STOP LOSS level simply by a left mouse button click at the relevant price level and hitting a Hotkey (of your choice as predefined) would be a significant speed advantage too.

  • Obviously, whether it's a STOP Loss level or LIMIT level would be identified by whether it's above or below the active position price.

    The above amendments shouldn't be too much of a challenge, but would hugely improve speed and functionality of the Hotkeys.

    Urgent Hotkey Adjustment: Flip Indicators and Instruments

    Dear Development Team,

    I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to submit an urgent request for a modification to the hotkeys within our trading platform. Specifically, I propose that we flip the functionality of the ‘/’ key and 'any letter' when it comes to accessing indicators and instruments.

    Current Behavior:

    • Pressing the ‘/’ key opens the indicators menu.

    • Typing any letter (e.g., ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, etc.) opens the instruments menu.

    Proposed Behavior:

    • Pressing the ‘/’ key should open the instruments menu.

    • Typing any letter should open the indicators menu.

    Reason for Request: As an active trader, I frequently switch between indicators and instruments. The current hotkey setup is counterintuitive and disrupts my workflow. By making this adjustment, we can enhance efficiency and streamline navigation within the platform.

    I kindly request that this change be prioritized due to its impact on daily trading activities. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

    Hot Keys on Mobile

    It would be great for those who do a lot of mobile trading due to work requirements to have the ability to use Hot Keys with the mobile platform. That way we could have a Bluetooth keypad or some other form of connection to our mobile devices to make quicker trades.

    Hotkey activation directly on charts

    hotkey toggle on/off directly on chart, and when you want to hot key into a specific trade, you click on the chart and hotkey right in. currently you can only have hot key activated on one indices. i want a way to click the chart and be able to hot key into the trade and quickly click on another chart index (in multi chart view) and hot key right into that trade as well. i dont want to have to go to exit full screen view to go to the order module, so i can switch hotkey activation to another order module. it’s causing me to enter trades late

    Time Frame Hot Keys / Short Cut Keys

    IMHO one of the most important hot key features was left out, which is the ability to switch time frames (Time Frame Up/Down from the favorite pre-selected).
    Would you please be kind enough to include that in your next update?

    Hot Keys for Toggling On/Off copy trading

    Would love the ability to quickly toggle between copy/trade and selected account from dropdown. For higher conviction trades, it’d be great to quickly turn copy trading on to capitalize on opportunity. It’s too time consuming to go into settings, select account to copy trade, and flip back to chart as a setup is developing.

    When taking a trade that’s not necessarily A+, or one that’s dedicated to a certain account, it’d be nice to quickly turn off copy trading so the risk is only on one account.

      Could we get the mouse buttons with modification keys to be available for setting a hotkey as those?

      I am specifically considering going back to Quantower just for this feature. why would this be skipped when creating hotkey feature? right clicking on chart then having to navigate the small window is aggravating and can cause mistakes.

    Add hotkey to Expand/Contract Y Axis on Charts

    Please add “Shift + Mouse Scroll” to Expand/Contract the Y-Axis on the charts.


    TSX currently has “Control + Mouse Scroll” to Expand/Contract the X-Axis. But there is no way to do this for the Y-Axis.

    Yes, I know that scrolling on the Price Margin will adjust the Y-Axis, but it’s VERY slow.
    If we have a hotkey for the X-Axis, we should get one for the Y-Axis. This will speed chart navigation exponentially.
