More Trader Configurable Risk Tools
The DLL is great. If you were to add lockouts after profit targets, trailing loss limits after realized/unrealized gains, contract limits, instrument limits and time of day, all controlled by the trader with strict periods where they could reset or change, say weekly, monthly etc, all that would have me sold on Topstep hook, line and sinker. TopstepX is great so far and I am relly looking forward to passing my evals, getting XFA's and getting to payouts. Hopefully this post will not disappear. Thanks

I posted this 3 weeks ago, same idea. Please thumbs up this so they know we need this.
Ability to limit amount of contracts I'm able to open. i.e. in a 50K we can trade up to 5 contracts, limit to what the trader wants, such as 1 contract. (Or 10 micros when that's available.)

This is a good idea.
I was also thinking about the idea of locking the account at specified times.
For example, I don't like being tempted into entering trades within 15m of NYSE open. So having the ability to lockout at my chosen times, in this case between 9:30 & 10:00 would be a feature I would like to see.
And one more idea, a flag that prevents new trades from being entered, allowing running trades to continue further into profit or come back BE.

I'd also like to see this feature added. For instance, I would like to lock myself out between 1030 and 130 CST. I'd also like to see trades run like Afterlife mentioned.

Furthermore: Need to be able to specify multiple times were trades become "liquidate only". For example, my personal rules dictate that I don't trade between 7:30-9:45 EST and 12:45-2:15 EST.

This would be very helpful for sure, I would use it.
it's just opposite of the Personal Daily Loss Limit, making it a Personal Daily Profit Protection Limit.
Having another option to where you are only allowed to trade profit past your target would be nice also. Like lets say my target was $500 and I end up makes $750, It locks me in at $500 profit and allows me to use the $250 to trade with for the rest of the day.

I was coming to say the same thing. And even multiple times, ie. the only times you can trade are during kill zones in Asia, London, and New York.

Patak discussed this this morning and I would really love it. It's a feature I use every day in Sierra.
Deanna talked about the 50% lockout, so you would get locked when your profit slid back to 50% from the daily high
Needs a minimum threshhold to kick in though

Hi there, thanks for sharing this feedback. We look to expand upon our trader risk management tools in the coming months. I will merge your request onto one that lives on our roadmap.

I think any sort of trader configurable limits and alerts would be accretive to all parties

As of now, you can set the limit and if you reach it you cannot change it, but you are right, you can change it up until the moment you actually hit it, so this would be a good feature also.
