My PING would not go below 200.

Feature RequestTradingPlatform

I have tried everything to lower my ping but it is not budging. I have a network speed of 800mbs. Is it due to servers location because i am situated in Middle east/Asia?

Will there be any solution to this issue because i think TOPSTEPX Will not be suitable for anybody outside the United states.

    My ping has been a steady 250-260 ms in South Africa and TopstepX works beautifully.

    Your ping time has to do with distance, not internet speed. So in your case your ping time will always be over 200ms. But even then, TopstepX should work fine.

    1- use online internet speed test to check your upload. Having 800mbs doesn't mean your upload speed is 800mbs.

    2- use wired connection and check the results.

    3- Try different brewers. If you have any antivirus/internet security make sure it's not not slowing your.

    4- try login from a different PC/laptop and check the difference.

      This is a persistent issue for Asia. Witnessing the platform operate on TopstepTV is a much better experience than I get, and that is being run then streaming on YouTube.

      It has improved a bit for me (SE Asia very high quality GB fiber). However, at launch, the platform wasn't operable, now it works but is clearly laggy just comparing it to the YouTube stream.

      They need to improve their hosing/servers etc.
