PLEASE do this. Making trailing loss a separate element for locking in for a day will change my world. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve not locked my daily loss due to not wanting to lock my trail at $300 while seeking a higher than $300 level of gain before setting a trailing lock to serve my goal and trading plan.
I like the idea of a PDLL trail, but it should have a profit trigger also. Say my PDLL is $125. I don’t want it to start trailing until I hit $250. Then it locks in a positive day whereas now I might be profitable by $100, but one trade goes bad, and I could get locked at -$25 rather than attempt a comeback. If you add a “start trailing at $” that would be really helpful.
Would be nice to have a set option for the lock out that automatically locks you out based on your preferred daily profit for the day. For example, i can set it to 1.2k and once i hit the profit target for the day the account will lock out similar to the daily loss lockout. Manual lock out feature is cool but sometimes I screw myself by not hitting it and continuing to trade only to lose all my profits for the day.

Search for - PDPT Trailing Profit Limit Stop - great suggestion, like yours but you can also trail profit to maximize your gain!
it will be a good option to lock the percentage of a profit per day , so that traders wont lose the day even though they will have a room for taking more trades per day

Risk Management Trail Trigger

example, daily profit $500, I want to lock in $300 and only be allowed to risk $200 or lock account type of safety.
