Personal Lockout Feature Suggestion

Hi Topstep Team,

I’d like to suggest adding an option to temporarily lock yourself out of the platform before reaching your Daily Loss Limit (DLL).

For example, a trader could set a rule such as:

• Set an automatic 30-minute trading pause after a $300 loss

• Lock trading for 15 minutes after 3 consecutive losing trades.

These early "wake-up call" limits could help traders regain focus, manage emotions, and improve risk management before reaching the full DLL (e.g., -$1,000).

I believe this feature could help many traders avoid emotional trading and take corrective action earlier rather than waiting until the maximum daily loss is reached.
