Risk settings per user profile or trading account?
To stay within the consistency target on my combine, I set the PDPT to stay within the consistency target limit. Yesterday while trading, I noticed that it worked on one combine account but not the other one. And upon closer inspection, I noticed that it can be set differently per trading account. This is good as it provides more granularity between the different accounts.
And after realizing this, I thought that I could set different "Position Risk" per trading account to have lower risk on my XFAs as I trade with less contracts. But once I saved the risk value, it is saved across all accounts. There seems to be a lack of consistency what these settings apply to whether it is that particular trading account or all accounts.
Also, I checked the copy trading settings too. But as expected, we can't have different copy trading settings per trading account. This was expected, but it would have been nice if this were possible.
Can we have a little more consistency here. It would be better if we had that extra bit of granularity and were able to set them per trading account, as I only want the PDLL on the combines and not the XFAs. But it needs to be consistent, as well as clearly documented stating which accounts the settings apply to, if they can be different.

The more I think about it, the more I think the settings should be per trading account, not user profile.
It would be more logical for something like risk per trade (Position Risk) to be set per trading account, rather than user profile. Normally I trade Combines with more contracts which requires more risk. But doesn't mean that the dollar amount for risk should be the same. I should be able to set them differently according to the risk I am willing to take per trading account.
