Running Balance

Traders, this is an important feature to have to protect ourselves and improve TopstepX. Having a running balance showing the net balance after each trade is crucial for trade transparency and to make sure the TopstepX application did not make an error. The Running Balance can be best displayed in the "Trades" tab of TopstepX or alternatively the "Orders" tab, whichever makes more sense.

Today I encountered what seemed like a bug. It appeared that TopstepX exited all my trades without me having placed any Stop Orders and without me hitting MLL. After TopstepX exited all my trades at the wrong time, I then ended up hitting MLL and blew my eval account. Having a Running Balance, we can prove something went wrong with TopstepX and it wasn't our fault.
