I`d like to have Topstepx having a moving stop loss.
I give you an example.
You place a buy order at $2000 (bullish market).
Then you set $200 as stop loss (meaning $1800 would be the order filled amount due the stop loss threshold).
As the trade rolls out, it gets to $2500 and the stop loss chases the operation keeping $200 of loss. In other words, with the operation at $2500, the stop loss is at $2300.
If, the buying operation, at $2500, starts a pullback, bringing the operation back to $2200, the stop loss would have acted and stopped it at $2300.
The same logics applies to a bearish market.
As a matter of fact this is NOT new. The Ninja trader platform has this feature and it is very helpful.
