Tick chart inaccurate

I trade on a 2000 tick chart. Why is it that the candles do not close and start the next candle at 2k ticks. Today the candles ranged anywhere from 2300 ticks to 3100 ticks. This appears to make the chart very inaccurate. I know platform to platform can differ but I missed multiple trades today charting on TopStep X comparted to TOS or Tradingview because there were less candles in the patterns because the candles went over 2k.
