Limit Timed Trades
Having the option to exit a position based on time instead of price. Time to exit trade would be determined before entering the trade based on a timer or time of day.
Timer example, prior to entry set position to close 30 minutes after entry
Time of day example, prior to entry set position to close at 11AM EST

Create a time limit blocker to cut off trading at a certain time.
We need a blocker / Lockout feature where we can be cut off at a certain time of day! :)))

Timed (liquidation) orders
We are required by prop firms to close all positions before the close of a session, or before a big news event. I would like this to be automatic, by placing an order to “flatten all” positions as of a time of day. Otherwise, I have been forced to review all open positions every afternoon and before the FOMC announcements and CPI reports.

Auto Close Positions / Cancel Orders before EOD Cutoff
Similar to Rithmic, could you include the ability to automatically close any open positions and cancel all orders at a user specified time? This is a great risk feature in the event of an unexpected internet or power outage. Within Rithmic I can specify the time I want to auto-liquidate positions and cancel orders ahead of the Top Step EOD cutoff time.

I think the OP is thinking about time-based auto-liquidate. Ie if we want to liquidate all for lunchtime. So not EOD.

Requesting verification please: Do I need to go back to my computer to close positions before 4:10pm.est, or does the system auto close without breaking rules?

I agree with this function. It would allow users to set a specific time when the order will auto close, or the open positions will auto flatten, before EOD.

Liquidate idea by session or time
I’d like help not trading past a certain time. I find that my winning percentage goes down drastically after a certain time. Is there an opportunity for traders to setup daily time limits on accounts, or to not trade during certain hours?
