I would like to propose the implementation of a feature that allows users to generate API credentials within the TopstepX platform. This functionality would be valuable for a subset of users who require programmatic access to the platform's features.

I previously utilized the Tradovate API for my trading needs. However, I've transitioned entirely to the TopstepX platform. The ability to generate API credentials within TopstepX would be a significant improvement for my workflow.

    TRADERSPOST API QUESTION

    Need api to connect platform when i try to add a api to the projectx plataform wont let me create the api please help thank you

      Even though Tradovate supports API, many funded accounts restrict it by default. You’ll need to contact your broker/prop firm and ask if API access can be enabled for your account type. Pretty much a died unless you Fund your own account.

      “From Tradovate: Insufficient permissions: please, verify email address first (https://support.tradovate.com/s/article/Missing-Tradovate-Verification-Email). Prop firm account holders should contact them directly to gain access to the Tradovate API.”🙁
