Automatic System Block of Ineligible Accounts

Happened to me a few times - was trading one of my accounts, made well in it, only to find out I was trading an eligible account instead of the active account I intended to trade!!!

No reason to be able to trade an eligible account while it is ‘Eligible’ and not reseted yet.

I will say, reworking Practice account to trade regardless of eligibility would be helpful. something about never resetting Practice and seeing max possible drawdown and max run ups is super helpful.

maybe change color of ineligible accounts to red in the drop menu. similar to blue practice and yellow xfa

I can’t upvote this enough. This has happened to me several times, and it is very frustrating! You shouldn’t be able to trade on ineligible accounts.

Also, the ability to hide accounts you don’t want to see whether blown or not.

DON'T ALLOW TRADING ON INELEGIBLE ACCOUNTS

This morning I had a really bad experience.

I made 470 profits only to learn that it had been on an old inelegible account.

This should not happen, in my opinion

Allow Users to Set Their Own Default Trading Acct That Appears on Sign In

As a trader who has multiple XFA’s or a Live account, I would like to be able to set one of these accounts as the default one that loads as soon as I sign in to TopStep X so that I can more easily and quickly begin my trading day in an account that matters.

Today, I had a great trade on but later discovered that it was placed in a combine account that was ineligible for funding. This was an infuriating UX for me. Please give me the freedom to choose which account I want to trade by default upon sign in so that I can avoid this poor UX in the future. Thanks.

I don’t see a way to edit my original request.

      I should have written…

As a trader who has multiple XFA’s or a Live account and keeps his BAL, MLL, RP&L and UP&L hidden, I would like to be able to set one of these accounts as the default one that loads as soon as I sign in to TopStep X so that I can more easily and quickly begin my trading day in an account that matters.

I realize that if those values weren’t hidden, I probably would have noticed that I was trading in the wrong account but Coach Dakota recommended keeping these hidden to help keep emotions out of trading and focus on process instead of profits.

As a trader using topstepX, i want to have the ability to set the number of contracts i can trade on my account regardless of the number of contracts that i am allowed to trade on. so that i can build some discipline with sizing.

      Acceptance Criteria:

For the sake if this AC, all steps will refer to 150k accounts.

      1. If account is 150k with 15 contracts max, trader should be able to set from 14contract to 1 contracts in settings.

      2. On the trade component max contract set by trader should be the max on the trading component (if 4 contracts in. settings, 1, 2, 3, 4)

      3. Trader should be able to duplicate that setting across all accounts, copied or manual

      4. Trader can update this setting to default if trader chooses to.
