DOM Hotkey Re-Code
Currently, if Hotkey Icon is selected/active in multiple DOMs, a SINGLE order keyed for ANY instrument results in an orders placed for ALL instruments with Hotkey Icon selected. Please Re-Code this, or at least allow de-selection of UNIVERSAL ORDER ENTRY for any/all DOMS with Hotkey Icon selected. Should be able to Center All DOMs, or Close All Positions with Hotkeys, while allowing Order Entry for a SINGLE instrument without having to de-select Hotkeys from all other DOMs. There are many other professional DOMs to model from: Jigsaw, Trading Technologies, MotiveWave, etc,. Do this and I’ll score/recommend TopStepX with rating higher than a 1.

Complete Hotkey Selection
I would like to see full hotkey selection and the ability to disable mouse trading in the DOM. The missing crucial hotkeys are a hotkey selection for “fast lots” for each number of contracts you want to trade, an option to input lot sizes via the numpad keys or digit keys(if not used for “fast lots”), ability to cancel last order, oldest order etc., and be able to set price for limit orders via the keyboard either to input it manually and an adjustable option like you currently have for the contract size.

DOM / Order Hotkeys should auto-focus on Chart selected.
Currently, a specific ticker has to be selected in which the order/DOM performs it’s orders.
There needs to be an option where a person can Select and active chart, and simply have the DOM/Order Menu auto-focus on that when it comes to creating orders.
It makes no sense that this isn’t already a feature as it’s a massive QOL benefit, when people have the ability to load multiple charts up.

I’m new to Topstep and I’ve now opened 3 positions on the wrong product and lost a signficant portion of my account. Being new to TopstepX I didn’t have any idea that the DOM and Order panel wouldn’t be automatically assosciated with the chart you are looking at.
It is insane that these are not linked together.
3 times. I mean yes I should have learned my lesson but it’s because it is just so bizarre. A third of my max drawdown gone because of this utterly non-sensical design.
Please fix this.
How has this only got 2 upvotes? Absoloutely, one of the worst pieces of UX design I’ve ever come across. And I design systems for the pblic sector in the UK so I’ve seen some lemons in my time.
Real shame as the rest of the platform is actually very good.
