auto break even on break of structure (like a limit order)

Break even button is useful, but what if we add it like a limit order? for example you place the β€œbreak even limit order" above a structure and if price breaks out of that level stop loss will automatically put to breakeven. (or even customizable like a breakeven + say 2 points above just to cover fees). This means you can leave your computer knowing if price breaks your level your position will automatically breakeven. This is a great way to automate the breakeven button.

    Thank you,

    Automatic Breakeven Order

It would be very beneficial to traders who do not always have the freedom to manage trades in UP/L but not at take profit level. A breakeven order that could be set to activate when a specific percentage/tick value of a take profit order has been crossed would serve to greatly safeguard the positions of existing traders on the platform in the case of reversals when in profit

ATTENTION TOPSTEP ! This would be AWESOME!

It would be nice if we had automated breakeven option, implementing either a risk to reward ratio for break even or just as we set buy/sell stops, we can right click the level desired and set a break even stop. PLEASE THIS WOULD BE AMAZING. Don’t forget about me when doing this :)

why not the next step of Trailing Stop with BE ?

For me, it would be interesting to add an automatic breakeven point (BE) configurable in ticks or dollars to the settings. This would allow both the stop-loss (ST) and direct stop-loss (S) to be configured correctly. Currently, it requires a lot of manual attention during trading and encourages errors.

Another improvement would be to add the dollar value of the stop-loss and take-profit settings to the visual configuration during trading. Currently, all calculations have to be done manually based on the asset and its tick value. It's quite outdated.

    automatic break-even

Hello, I wanted to know if it's possible to create a tool that allows us to automatically break even once we've set up our lab, so we no longer have to put it in front of the screen like Qunatower. Thank you.

Break Even Button But Also Moves Stop Order.

After you click the break even button if the trade goes in your favor the button becomes a "Move Stop" button that can move the stop to lock in profit (adjustable amounts). Would be much quicker than trying to drag the stop order on the chart..

    Break Even Button offset

Allow the trader to set an offset for the break even button. Instead of just going to the entry price make it where they can apply a tick offset. So, instead of going to exactly break even it could go break even + 2 ticks or whatever the trader sets.

I think best this would be to include (fees for both ways in advance of the sale) in the P&L, so that once you close you are at the P&L that shown.

    break even setting

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding how break-even trades are reflected in the performance statistics. Currently, trades that are managed to break-even still register as a small loss due to the contract fees (typically showing a -$2 to -$3 result).

While I understand that these fees are part of real trading costs, having these trades display as losses in the performance summary can misrepresent the accuracy of execution, especially when the trade was managed correctly to protect capital without emotional error.

Would it be possible to add a setting or feature that categorizes trades closed at break-even (before fees) as neutral or zero in the performance stats? I believe this would help traders more clearly track the quality of their execution versus simply focusing on net P&L.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I appreciate the platform and the opportunity to continue growing here.

Seems like a solution here would be a β€œexclude fees” toggle to specify whether fees should be included or excluded.
