Algo trading and backtesting engine

You should open source any future algo trading and backtesting engine and build it in rust. I've been building my own platform in rust over last year, with charting and collocation servers etc for strategies. It's an amazing language for algo back end.

I had plans to compile a c type interface so any language that supports c libraries can be used for building strategies but I am also using 0 copy serde for data transfer so I am not sure if I will proceed with this step, since personally I found rust better for algos than c# or python and I prefer the speed of using bytes vs json etc.

I was planning on making open source later but I am not professional engineer or programmer.

I think the topstep x front end could work with my project since it appears to be lightweight charts api.

Topstep should definitely consider an open source model for any algo trading engine since we would need to understand the engine to properly test strategies.

I'd be really keen to get involved in an engine project backed by topstep.
