Visual Clues for Practice Account
For new customers who are not used to your own platform TopStepX, it is of VITAL IMPORTANCE to have a way to distinguish the combine account from the practice account. I decided to spend the first week practicing with the platform and every time I reset the practice account, the chart would revert to the live Combine account. I missed manually switching back to the Practice Account and it cost me $1000 from the combine account. So please add some VISUAL CLUES to distinguish the two accounts. Alternatively, or additionally, it might be nice if you offer the opportunity to use a TopstepX practice account before you sign up for the combine so that you don’t have to waste time/money getting used to a platform that for most new customers is entirely unfamiliar.

Please change the static lab Combine COLOR to some other
The Practice account and static Combine COLORS are identical - I was building back
my losses in my static lab Combine acct, and then realized I was actually in
my Practice account :~) THANKS.

Practice account identification.
The practice account number shows blue at the very beginning of the number but can there be other identifiers??? Can balance and MLL and other numbers be made blue also? Anything to try to highlight that its a practice account would be great. I launched TSX and I was in the practice account not the combine. I had great trades getting to 50% of the target only to realize its the practice. That is my fault for not double checking but it shouldnt have launched to the practice account period. So if possible please add other identifiers that show its a practice account please.

Adding my vote. Even cooler if we could set the background color of the UI per account, like practice = blue, combine1 = green, combine2 = yellow, it’d be a nice visual reminder on which account is currently active. Same concept as the orange border around TOS OnDemand - visual confirmation that trades will not be live.

Blowing your combine because you think you are on practice account after reset of the practice
It would be very kind of you guys the TopStep Team too fix this issue with the reset of the Practice Account. because, when you reset your practice account you get send directly to your tradeing combine at the TopstepX and when your in flow you just think that your still on the practice account while your on the combine. Me personal beeing a person with Attention deficit disorder /add, it is hard to double check. thats how i busted 2/4 tradeing combines by now. please fix it. 150,00 is alot money for me. i use the practice account not that serious like i do my combine.
would be nice of you to fix that as soon as possible. thanks

I was about to post just this! was testing out the features and internationally wanted to see how it would behave when reaching limits… I reset like you said and did another test… on my real account… within 30 min I blew my account. the customer support was awesome and understanding. took care of it right away..
changing the background color to red (or even better, maroon my default and let us choose the background color to make it easier on the eyes for some folks).
on top of that, an additional way to handle it, is when you first load in, you are presented with a selection box forcing you to select which account you will use. the previous account used should be highlighted. some users might not like this, so a setting in the options to turn this on/off would appease.
