This is a must have. Locking risk settings is the only reason I no longer blow accounts on tilt.

I agree that this is a needed addition to the risk management settings. We set the max loss, for example, for a reason. If I take a trade where a stop would put me at my DLL and due to slippage my DLL is not hit when I get stopped, I don't want to be able to adjust my risk settings intra day at that point. I want to just be effectively done for the day.

I would like to lock it for any time frame we choose. I’ve been working to lock my risk settings every day for 3 weeks, then re evaluate. Would be really nice to set a date or number of days to lock.

It would be beneficial for traders to be able to lock in their risk settings etc for an extended period of time. The lock out and risk settings work well when you are in the right headspace and trading well or with experience. But for myself like today for example I went on tilt and changed my DLL and blew my account. Revenge trading and chasing P&L.. completely on me and something i need to work on but I think having the option to change it everyday seems a bit pointless. If i could select all my settings and lock it in for a month for example then i would have to adhere to those rules for 4 weeks and I couldn’t change them at all. This for me and for other traders i think would have a greater effect on consistency and picking you’re trades and size wisely.
