Change the "liquidate" option in risk settings to "liquidate only"
Right now it's more or less just a stop loss, the problem is that you can immediately get back into a trade after it's triggered. I understand that you can choose the lockout option to keep that from happening, but sometimes you may not want to be completely done for the day. This goes for both the loss and gain limits.
Make it to where you can only liquidate at that point, unless you go into the settings and update it. It'd provide a time to reset for the trader as well as time to think about if you want to keep going instead of making an emotional decision. As it's set up now, the liquidate option is almost worthless.
Numbers should be based on liquidation and not trigger value
It will happen that you take trades and it syas that you lost 500$, for example. but the reality might be that you have been liquidated at 750$. The trade info should reflect the 750$ and not the 500$. This should also be evident in the dashboard as well. Because I had a situation where I was -1760 ish… but the reality was that I was -2300ish. Even with my SL in place.
here is what support told me:
We wanted to bring to your attention that during the trading session, your Loss Limit was exceeded. It is important to note that the actual liquidation value may differ from the trigger value, and depending on market fluctuations, your P & L may land above the set Loss Limit threshold. This could result in a loss that is less than the Loss Limit itself. However, please note that if an auto liquidation occurs, it means that the trader's Net P & L did exceed the Loss Limit. This is also denoted whenever a liquidation occurs in TopstepX
The numbers should reflect, not the trigger value, but the liquidation value
Auto Flatten All feature for UP&L with pre-determined profit/loss target to close multiple trades
It would be nice to have an auto flatten all feature with a pre-set profit/loss for UP&L when trading many instruments with a minimal number of contracts. Also adding a flatten all tab to the Positions tab would be useful.
