Advanced Multi-Level Trailing Stop Orders
Request for conditional trailing stops that move to predetermined profit levels only when specific price thresholds are reached, rather than continuously trailing the market.
Example functionality:
Set initial target: 500 ticks
When price reaches 200 ticks, automatically move trailing stop to 100 ticks (securing profit)
When price reaches 300 ticks, move trailing stop to 175 ticks
Continue with customizable levels until final target is reached
Key features needed:
Multiple conditional stop levels (not just one trailing increment)
Tick-based settings (not just dollar amounts) for cross-instrument compatibility
User-defined trigger points and corresponding stop adjustments
Works with DOM order entry
This would provide more sophisticated risk management similar to advanced platforms while maintaining TopstepX's user-friendly approach.

advanced trailing stops
topstepx platform could use more advanced trailing stop options, like trend line breaks for one and also a more logic based stops using other indicators,
for example ATR stop.
trail the stop from points/ticks based off the atr range with # of candles back in a specific timeframe

Having a trailing stoploss attached to an indicator, like SuperTrend, is a very important feature. This allows the profits a winner to run overnight. Please have an input for number of ticks above or below the indicator for trailing stop placement. Also, please allow this option in OCO orders. This setup has been key in NinjaTrader and very profitable.

Move Stop Loss Based on Logic
I would like a feature which is a more advanced form of the trailing stop feature. This feature would use IF and THEN logic for the moving of the stop loss. For example you can set the logic that IF my trade is up X amount of ticks or dollars, THEN move my stop less to a certain level (could be a price or a profit amount). This feature could be added to, to have continuous logic. Such as, IF profit is at X amount move stop loss to level 1. IF profit continues, THEN move stop loss to level 2, etc.

Trailing Stops with Targets
Iβve seen that TopstepX has trailing stops within the order configuration but understand that it is dynamic as soon as it is triggered. What if they added an option where it activates only as as it hits a first target then trails from a pre-determined distance.

Ticks vs points on trailing stop
Allow the trailing stop calculation to be either ticks or points so you dont have to calculate and can quickly determine where you want your trailing stop .

More advance Stop Loss settings
MOST USEFUL ADDITION TO THE TRAILING STOP would be the ability to have the SL move to a specific user defined spot when price hits a certain point.
For example: Once trade reaches 100 ticks profit side, the SL moves to 50 ticks from entry point. Once trade reaches 200 ticks profit side SL moves to 125 ticks from entry point.
Alternatively, what would be very cool to see added to stop loss functionality, a SL that automatically moves in accordance with a particular indicator, like and EMA

Adjusted Trailing Stop
I would like a feature that would only trigger the trailing stop when a certain price point is reached.

This would be a great element to have in play. Even better if in addition to the price point trigger the stop was based on a % of pullback of unrealized gains and not a static dollar value that becomes a trade killer from a tiny drop once your gain gets to higher levels during the trade.
Example, if I have a $300 daily loss limit I could set the trailing to kick in at say $800 which means once I hit that mark it sets up a win for the day of at least $500 and takes away my propensity for letting tilt kick in to try for more at the expense of losing it all and ending up negative as the end of day result.
Relative to the % feature I mention: Say Iβm making gains in a trade with 2 mini NQ and they are in nice profit (say + $2k) and I want to set a tp for one and let one ride a potential all day uptrend. Well I need a bit of room for that runner to survive and not get whacked on a small pullback (which is inevitable). If the setting could be a percentage (say i set 50%), I can survive the pullbacks of a stepladder grind up (or down) and maybe make it all the way to auto liquidate for a LOT more profit, while ensuring a nice win if it does not sustain. Part of the why here is because I NEED to lock my personal settings at start of day because if I donβt do that Iβll just change them before they get hit. NOTE: this all stems from my ability to do so in Guardian Angel Trader app that I have on Ninja Trader. I know Dee has mentioned that app so maybe there is familiarity with this feature.

PLEASE do this. Making trailing loss a separate element for locking in for a day will change my world. Canβt tell you how many times Iβve not locked my daily loss due to not wanting to lock my trail at $300 while seeking a higher than $300 level of gain before setting a trailing lock to serve my goal and trading plan.
