Footprint Charts Need to Be Added to Topstep

If Topstep is serious about helping traders grow and perform at a higher level, footprint charts are not optional anymore—they’re essential. Right now, we’re limited to standard charting, which only tells part of the story. Footprint charts show real order flow—aggressive buyers vs sellers, absorption, imbalances, and where the market is actually being controlled. That’s the difference between guessing and understanding. This would allow traders to: See bid vs ask volume in real time Identify absorption and trapped traders Spot true breakouts vs fake moves Improve entries and exits with precision Build consistency based on real market behavior, not just patterns A lot of serious traders already rely on footprint charts through other platforms. Bringing this into Topstep would keep everything in one ecosystem and give traders a real edge without needing outside tools. If the goal is to create consistently profitable traders, this is one of the most impactful features you could add. Let’s bring real order flow into Topstep.

Multi-Level Bracket Orders (Scale-Out System for One Entry)

I’d like to suggest an improvement to bracket order functionality that would significantly enhance execution for traders who use partial take-profit strategies. Current Limitation: Right now, bracket orders only support a single take-profit and stop-loss per entry. To scale out of a position, we have to manually place multiple separate orders very quickly, which becomes difficult in fast-moving markets and increases execution risk.

combine accounts in stats page

I would love to be able to combine the funded accounts on the stats page. tradesea you are able to select accounts and combine them and see all your stats instead of just selecting between each account. I personally dont trade them all at once with copy trading this this would be very helpful for me to see overall stats

Calendar with Sunday as Start of Week

The calendar was recently changed to start each week with Monday and now has Sunday at the end of the week. This puts the weekly pnl total sitting 1 column to the left end of the week. It actually look ridiculous. This ‘upgrade’ wasn’t something anyone needed or asked for. There was no need to fix something that wasn’t broken. At least give us the option to select Sunday or Monday as the start of the week.

Indicator on Top Bar if other accounts are in a pposition

Just blew two XFA’s because I guess I left a limit on overnight on an account and didn’t realize it. Would be nice if there was something on top to show if youre in a position on any account instead of me wasting several hundred dollars on totally innocent behavior. Holy crap guys.

Journal Notes, include in the Trade Exports

Please add a feature to include trader journal notes/comments in exported CSV trade reports. Currently, trade exports contain execution details such as entry/exit prices, timestamps, quantity, P&L, and other trade metrics, but do not include the notes or journal entries attached to each trade. Including journal notes in the CSV export would allow traders to: Keep a complete external backup of both trade data and analysis Review setups, emotions, mistakes, and lessons alongside trade performance Import full trading records into third-party journaling or analytics platforms without losing context Perform deeper analysis by correlating notes with results over time Suggested Implementation: Add a new column in the exported CSV file, such as Trade Journal Notes, containing the text entered in the trade journal for each corresponding trade. This would make trade exports significantly more useful for serious traders who rely on journaling as part of their performance review process.

Higher timeframe issue

I'm facing an issue with chart drawings on TopstepX. Drawings in lower time-frames are often not appearing in higher time-frames. This already led to multiple loss, as I'd have gotten out of a trade when price hit a key area that was plotted on my chart, but I couldn't because, in higher time-frame, it simply didn't appear. I use the rectangle tool to draw support/resistance, and trend line tool to mark out key areas also FYI.

Advanced Multi-Level Trailing Stop Orders

Request for conditional trailing stops that move to predetermined profit levels only when specific price thresholds are reached, rather than continuously trailing the market. Example functionality: Set initial target: 500 ticks When price reaches 200 ticks, automatically move trailing stop to 100 ticks (securing profit) When price reaches 300 ticks, move trailing stop to 175 ticks Continue with customizable levels until final target is reached Key features needed: Multiple conditional stop levels (not just one trailing increment) Tick-based settings (not just dollar amounts) for cross-instrument compatibility User-defined trigger points and corresponding stop adjustments Works with DOM order entry This would provide more sophisticated risk management similar to advanced platforms while maintaining TopstepX's user-friendly approach.

Feature Request: Multi-Stage Profit Targets for Strategy Automation

I would like to see the ability to configure multiple profit targets within a single automated strategy. This feature should allow users to define a specific number of contracts to be sold at an X tick interval, with the remaining contracts automatically set to close at a Y tick interval, like in Ninjatrader.

Long/short tool limit orders

Would it be possible to enter positions based on visual pre-determined risk/reward settings via the long/short position chart tools? TradingView allows this if you connect it to your broker. It would be amazing to visually see our $ amount risk/reward and enter when price hits the entry point avoiding manual calculations prior to entry.

HOT Keys for limit orders

Hello support team, i would request to upgrade your keyboard only hotkeys to place limit orders at any price i want for example in trade station platform they have customization for hotkeys that is keyboard trading are as follows : TAB key to select current price, UP & DOWN arrow keys to move the price Buy or the sell side respectively. ENTER key to execute the trade DELETE to cancel the last executed trade. If i compare your hotkeys are pretty basic when it comes to hotkeys. we have team of quick scalper who execute the trade in seconds and minutes with only hotkeys, We trade almost 700 trades every day and currently they are with trade station and ready to move to you guys if you do customization for hotkeys

Maximum Positions per day

Since trade counter includes partial exits from a position, it would be nice to have a max amount of positions per day. This morning, with Max Trades configured to 3, I lost my first trade. So when I entered a second position, I wanted to grab a partial profit to ensure that this, second position resulted in profit. Because of that partial, I was locked-out - only able to close my current, second position.

Right-Click: Customize Market and Limit Order Placement

In the Chart Component, I would like to be able to customize the list from the order placement. Currently, it has Market Buy, Market Sell, Stop Buy @ and Limit buy/sell. I would like to be able to have my Limit buy/sell order placement on top of the list when I right click. May you be able to create a “Custom Click” Order placement setting?

Allow 3rd party indicators

Lots of request exist here to request 3rd party indicators. TopStepX is extremely limited. We cannot even get basic sessions identifiers. Tons of very popular indicators like LuxAlgo’s, or ORB’s are not available here. Whay don’t you just go back to Tradovate, connected to TradingView? Wouldn’t it be simpler to already use something that is already available, and known to work well?

Please re-instate back moving Layout frame with fingerTouch

From fingerTouch of sliding each layout frame, now it can only be done with the cursor. And, what is that gorguos white font flag called Position Bracket Enabled - decorating on top of my layout 1 !!!! So annoying that I have to catch sight of it everytime instead of just my chart ingredients! THANKS !
