Footprint Charts Need to Be Added to Topstep
If Topstep is serious about helping traders grow and perform at a higher level, footprint charts are not optional anymore—they’re essential. Right now, we’re limited to standard charting, which only tells part of the story. Footprint charts show real order flow—aggressive buyers vs sellers, absorption, imbalances, and where the market is actually being controlled. That’s the difference between guessing and understanding. This would allow traders to: See bid vs ask volume in real time Identify absorption and trapped traders Spot true breakouts vs fake moves Improve entries and exits with precision Build consistency based on real market behavior, not just patterns A lot of serious traders already rely on footprint charts through other platforms. Bringing this into Topstep would keep everything in one ecosystem and give traders a real edge without needing outside tools. If the goal is to create consistently profitable traders, this is one of the most impactful features you could add. Let’s bring real order flow into Topstep.

Auto Oco stop loss & take profit in dollar amount
When I use auto oco brackets, I can only make the open position display in dollars. Let me select this as an option for the SL and TP too.

Live Bracket Order Preview
I would love for TopstepX to have live bracket preview. It would 100% help with risk management. Here’s the example on tradelocker, for market orders you can have a stop loss preview before you put your position in. For example if NQ is at 28,435 and you want want a SL at 28,429 with risk per trade of $60. It can quickly calculate your lot size for your position. This would be plenty of help when it comes to risk management

Manage Orders by entry
It would be great to have the ability to manage a trade by entry. So if i enter 1 lot on nq then later add a position but the market pulls back i would like to be able to exit that 2nd position without losing my first position. In a sense this could be enhanced bracket orders. but manually being able to manage individual trades is super essential. This should also be fully functional when copy trading. In addition this this it would be great if before I enter a trade I can see the pre determined bracket levels. So if im entering a 2 lot buy on NQ and my bracket TP is at 4500 I want to be able to display that along with my stop loss so its easier to manage the trade before even entering and adjust to market.

TRADING PREP LIST- ON SCREEN!
1- Are you in the correct account? (How many times did you have a great trade only to find out your in PRACTICE mode?) 2- Is the Contract and Contract size correct? ( Accidently having a 15 lot on can destroy an account in seconds!) 3- How is your MINDSET? Are you prepared to Trade? 4. Are your charts clean and clutter-free? Alarms set? 5. Is your phone and DND? )(anything that can and will distract you) 6. Are you MLL and MDPT updated? (Especially for Consistencyt accounts) THESE ARE ONLY EXAMPLES -Having this on screen and having to CHECKMARK you list would be extremely helpful! PLEASE CONSIDER THIS AS A RISK MGMT OPTION! Account risk settings
I suggest removing the option for “do nothing” on daily profit and loss. Why would you putting numbers in if you want to “do nothing” Another option might be to default the drop down to “liquidate”. A few times I have gone through daily loss limit due to hitting save before changing from do nothing to liquidate. Again, do nothing really doesn’t make sense.,

I would like to have the ability to abbreviate the Topstep Daily Levels name tag, or change the name outright. that is associated with each level, as seen at the right margin. Some of the tags are 30 characters long, it takes up way to much space . Thabnks for your attention to this matter .

Create A Sync Option Between Chart and Order Block
Many times, I am watching the MES chart and I want to enter an order. When I proceed, I noticed the order entry block was set for MGC. Then exiting in MGC causes a small loss usually. I think it would be great if we can somehow choose if we want the chart and order block to be synchronized. In my opinion this issue is exclusive to this platform. Execution usually goes in the same chart that you are analyzing.

Mechanical Trading Checkbox
As a new trader I have been facing issues with emotional stability. I think mechanical trading helps with emotional stability, better psychology development. By mechanical trading I mean that after entry, the trader cannot mess with the SL and TP. Only observation remains. If a checkmark would be added somewhere would be awesome. I am thinking in the preset area of pre-defined SL and TP (to the left). Or maybe, after arranging the SL or TP, you click a button for leaving the trade as mechanical.

Webhook generator for Project X API key
Implement an in-house webhook generator for alert and algorithm trading through project X. Much like 3rd party places like pickmytrade, you have your own generator that creates the webhook and prompts without having to go through the clunky instructions of making one though python if you don't want to pay another monthly subscription to bridge topstep and project X together.

Risk Setting By Session and Other Risk Setting Changes
It would be great if a few modifications for risk settings could be made. We need the option for per session set, e.g. Overnight and RTH. That way, say I want to limit myself to 2 trades at night, but 6 trades overall, I would get locked out of overnight after 2 trades and would be allowed to use my remaining 4 trades during RTH. Another great thing would be to allow us to manually lock out even after setting risk parameters for the day. Say I have max trades set at 6 but I know I am not reading he market right after 3 trades, I am unable to lock myself out because the daily risk settings have already been set and they allow for 3 more trades. My willpower is not strong enough to resist those 3 trades even though I know I should!

ORDER MANAGEMENT - CRITICAL IMPROVEMENT REQUIRED
It gets shown only once order is triggerred.. which is blind trade and its such a basic feature which should be available in the platform. I have turned off the auto OCO as by that every time I exit a part trade it creates lot of orders on screen and also very troublesome. Kindly replicate the trading view order placement and management into the platform. THIS IS VERY BASIC REQUIREMENT or provide a bridge to TRADING VIEW. I joined here as it said trading view platform but very dissappointed with order placement and management options available in the toolkit. Apologies for bold title.. as I see some requests in queue pending since years so wondering if those get looked at all.

Multi-Level Bracket Orders (Scale-Out System for One Entry)
I’d like to suggest an improvement to bracket order functionality that would significantly enhance execution for traders who use partial take-profit strategies. Current Limitation: Right now, bracket orders only support a single take-profit and stop-loss per entry. To scale out of a position, we have to manually place multiple separate orders very quickly, which becomes difficult in fast-moving markets and increases execution risk.

A new way to buy/sell positions
I would like to see a new kind of Order Form wherein you enter first your RISK ALLOCATION ($ amount you want to risk for the trade) and your STOP LOSS LEVEL. Then four Buy (or Sell) BUTTONS are available to click on: FULL, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4. What happens when you click a button: FULL Button - Calculates no. of contracts needed in order to execute a buy (or sell) at the CURRENT PRICE LEVEL with a stop at the indicated STOP LOSS LEVEL at a cost equal to the “full” RISK ALLOCATION amount. After calculating, it executes a market order to buy/sell the calculated no. of contracts. 3/4 Button - Same calculation and execution but computes based on 3/4 of the RISK ALLOCATION 1/2 Button - Same calculation and execution but computes based on 1/2 of the RISK ALLOCATION 1/4 Button - Same calculation and execution but computes based on 1/4 of the RISK ALLOCATION This type of ordering eliminates the need to do your personal calculations to arrive at how many contracts or shares you need to buy/sell in order to keep within your desired risk allocation. It also allows you to do market orders without worrying about risking more than you intended, especially during breakouts or when the price has moved away slightly from your planned entry or when price is still pulling back and you already want to add a partial position. The partial buttons also allow you to average your entries as the price moves but still arrive at your planned risk allocation amount with the stop at your planned stop loss level.

Long/short tool limit orders
Would it be possible to enter positions based on visual pre-determined risk/reward settings via the long/short position chart tools? TradingView allows this if you connect it to your broker. It would be amazing to visually see our $ amount risk/reward and enter when price hits the entry point avoiding manual calculations prior to entry.
